Clearwater Cottages  has been enjoyed by families since 1920.  These are the last real beach cottages left in Clearwater Beach on the beach side of Mandalay Ave

These cottages are located  6 blocks north of Pier 60., where  most evenings at sunset you will find street performers, dancers, arts and crafts, ourdoor movies on the lawn and even live concerts.  Three  blocks  walk would take you to Frenchy’s Waterfront Restaurant, 2 blocks walk on the beach would take you to Palm Pavillion Water Front Entertainment Complex and Resturant, the most famous Sunset Tiki Bar in North Beach. Across the street 3 blocks down has play ground for children that is free with a BBQ grill and BOCCI court , rock climbing.  Other facilities include boat ramp, library, basketball and tennis court, which are a three-block walk. There is Angelo’s Pizza across the street . Adults would really like the Shipwreck Bar that has darts, a lively crowd and a pool table. The Jolley Trolly outside the cottages would give you a ride to anywhere for a $1.75.

When you stay here, you canwalk  to the beach and back home barefoot and bask in the sunset with a drink, enjoying your laid-back vacation on the beach. Clearwater Cottages offers all accommodations that include one, two or three bedroom cottages. A family up to that of 7 members can easily enjoy a vacation here.

Policies:

After  email confirmation of requested date, please call with credit card deposit to hold dates. $250, exept holidays and Peak Season.$500.   You will receive an email with your itinerary and confirmation.   This will become your security deposit and refunded if nothing broken  or missing.

$75 cleaning fee includes all fresh linens, and papergood, towels, soap, and thorough cleaning of your rental unit.  Upon departure, we expect our cottages to look like when you arrived.

Some of our cottages are pet friendly  and the fee is only $50. All of our cottages have tile and bamboo floors, no carpet and freshly painted each season.

These cottages are 200-400 steps from the beach, not directly on the beach, but half the price of the condos on the beach. The Tommy Bahama Island House has a view of the beach.

Cancellation policy is full refund if cancelled 45 days prior to arrival, except holidays and Peak season. Otherwise we will provide you a credit toward a future date.

We appreciate happy Guests and if you have any special needs such as playpens, bicycles, high chairs, there is no charge.  If the Cottages are not for you upon arrival we will provide a new condo motel instead. These are cute little houses, and most Guests love the Cottages, but we cannot meet the needs of upscale well heeled Travelers who have expectations we cannot meet.  They should stay at the expensive resorts just 3 blocks over such as the Hilton Hotel and Sandpearl Hotel, which share the same great beach for 2-3 times the price. You also can rent at the Hilton Hotel , lounge chairs and beach umbrellas,  jet skis, bicycles, and they have on the beach Tiki bar for drinks.  At the Cottage you may bring our lounge chairs and a cooler to the beach, use our bicycle and fishing poles, and Capt Al may even invite you out on the boat for an experience you will never forget.
